In addition to wonderful service, the atmosphere is really cozy, especially on a cold Mendoza autumn day. Light jazz music playing and warm heaters around the restaurant.
I came for a late lunch and to use the internet to do some research. I enjoyed the malbec braised lamb with ratatouille. For dessert, I indulged with the chocolate lava cake. While waiting for dessert they brought me a complimentary espresso because the lava cake was taking an extra few minutes.
This place definitely deserves the high marks and the "top choice" recommendation in the Lonely Planet. Great service, good food, and a warm atmosphere, you owe it to yourself to stop by at least once while you're in Mendoza. Enjoy and happy travels!
